To drink or not to drink....stevia

I finally decided to try Crystal Light drink mix with stevia. I categorically refuse to consume artificial sweeteners like aspartame, Splenda etc. I have to somehow free myself from the sugar monster. I am happy to report that I got no lingering aftertaste, no headache and it was good. I tried the lemonade. Was it as tasty as Simply Lemonade? Of Course Not!! But it was comparable to Koolaid lemonade without that cup of sugar. A win - win. Now to try the sweetener in Koolaid mix!

After seeing these on Pinterest, and then on my BFF's diningroom table, I had to make some for myself!!  A little garage sale shopping and some glass adhesive and I am ready to find some rebar to plant these into my garden!

Overcast....again

Living here in the Northwest we get a lot of gray days. They aren't very inspirational. Fortunately for me, I get daily devotions from Proverbs 31.org. They bring light into this gray world! Some days I find a great deal looking online at craigslist and 2good2toss..
I scored a beautiful double porch glider for a song! Well, not literally but it was inexpensive. I may remake the cushion if it doesn't clean up well. I'm waiting for a sunny day to scrub it up. Sending love and Gods sunshine! Annie

Easy Peasey Smores - no fancy equipment needed

I've been reading directions for SMORES, some recipes require a kitchen torch - never have I had one of those, and chocolate molds...none of those either.   I have some simple directions!
You use your baking sheet for toaster oven, or cookie sheet for regular oven.
Lay graham crackers in pan to see how many it takes to fill it up.  Then coat each one with marshmallow creme, I like a lot on mine.
Turn your oven on to broil and put the marshmallow cremes and graham crackers under the heat until the marshmallow creme is toasted.  Pull them out and lay hershey bars on top.  The heat of the marshmallows will melt the chocolate only a little.  Just perfect to start popping them in your mouth!
Enjoy!
